Sound-absorbent panels are deployed as coverings for ceiling and wall surfaces as well as for acoustic partial areas (for example, ceiling and wall panels, textile acoustic modules, acoustic cabinet fronts). They serve in providing a regulated reverberation time, intentional sound reflection and good speech audibility. They are available in Absorber Classes A through E and in a sound-reflective design. The sound-absorbent panels are made of woodchip acoustic panels, slotted or perforated fibre panels (MDF), fibre gypsum panels, metal and bio-soluble mineral wool.
